What is Autism?
Autism Spectrum Disorder is a neurodevelopmental disorder that lasts throughout a person's life and refers to a broad range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech and nonverbal communication.
Prevalence rate of Autism :-
According to a report by ETHealthWorld, about 18 million people in India are diagnosed with autism. About 1 to 1.5 per cent of children aged two to nine years are diagnosed with ASD and worldwide estimation is about 1 in 100 children .
